総じて使いやすい
ブッシュクラフト講習のおすすめ品だったので買いました。普段はキャンプツーリングで使っています。ステンレス製なのでチタンのようにペコペコすることもなく丈夫です。焚き木の直火にかけると煤で真っ黒になりますが、スポンジでこすれば取れます。洗いやすいです。丸いチキンラーメンがちょうどすっぽり入る大きさです。総じて使いやすいですが、要改善点があるとすれば、・注ぎ口の位置が使いづらい。ドリップコーヒーを作るためにドリッパーに注ぐ際に、右手で側面のハンドルを持って注ぐと、注ぎ口が隠れてしまい注ぎづらいです。右利きの場合はハンドルの反対側ではなくて斜め前に付けて欲しいです。左利きの人は逆になりますが。。なおハンドルを上から持つのではなくて下から持てば今の位置でもマシになりますが。・内側に目盛りを付けて欲しい。目盛りがあればコーヒーのためにお湯を沸かす際に助かります。・吊るための取っ手が自立するようにして欲しい。スノーピークのステンレス真空マグMG-213を中に入れています。立てて収納すると蓋が浮きますが、横にすると蓋は浮きません。

The kettle is adorable, made from mirror finish stainless steel and just radiates quality and simplicity. While light in weight it should give years of use if cared for properly.
Filled with water to within a half inch from top it holds three and a half cups, plenty for a big mug of coffee for one or two campers.
I want to address what I and others have encountered as “handle challenges” and how I solved them. First- the top bail handle that doesn’t stay in the up position. As another reviewer also demonstrated, you just need to gently bend the handle catch on one side with a pliers so the edges flare outward to keep the handle in the upright position when in use. (See pic)
The other issue I found is the fold-out locking handles on the back- when open and meshed together they work great, unfortunately there is nothing that locks them against the sides of kettle when folded away, so they are free to just flop about. Since the handles sit loosely in their frame I found that 16 gauge soft steel wire fits right in there alongside and tightens the handles up enough so they stay put in any position. (See pic) I cut a small length for each side and folded the edges out of the way. Super easy- you can get the wire at your local craft store.
I look forward to putting this little guy to work camping soon, and will revise review if necessary.
